International collaboration

Prevent has participated in international occupational health and safety work for many years. The company’s training courses and training materials are sought after internationally.

Prevent is part of the cooperation between the Nordic occupational health and safety organisations and also works with several other international occupational health organisations. Through our partnership with the International Labour Office (ILO), our basic training material Better Work Environment (BAM) has been translated to nearly 40 languages. The training material has long been the cornerstone of Sweden’s occupational health and safety work.

ISSA and ICOH

Prevent is represented in the International Social Security Association (ISSA) and is a permanent member of the International Congress on Occupational Health (ICOH).

Focal Point – a European hub

Prevent works with the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work in Bilbao. The European website Focal Point was developed under the aegis of the agency, and the Swedish Agency for Work Environment Expertise is responsible for the Swedish part of the website.
